Trailer released for Nazi-Apocalypse movie ‘Iron Sky’
The theatrical trailer for the controversial Finnish apocalyptic movie Iron Sky has just been released.
Described as a comedy, sci-fi actioner the movie will see President Sarah Palin leading America in the battle against Nazis, who have been secretly building up their invasion force on the dark side of the moon.
The director Timo Vuorensola recently hinted at the struggle to bring this indie project to fruition, a project which has been in development for over 6 years.
“The many hardships and all the trouble we went through to make an indie product like this was staggering, but we pulled it through. We’re proud of our accomplishments, and the theatrical trailer gives a powerful glimpse into the world of Iron Sky.”
There’s still no information on a possible US release however the movie gets its debut at the Berlin Film Festival February 11, 2012 and has a UK release date of April 4, 2012.
Summary: The Nazis set up a secret base on the moon in 1945 where they hide out and plan to return to power in 2018.
