The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 9 Preview
Last night’s episode (Nebraska) saw Hershel’s barn full of zombies either burned or burried and two new villains quickly dispatched. From where the episode left off you’d assume it would now be plain sailing for Hershel, his family and Rick’s band of survivors but you’d be wrong. As the preview for next week’s episode (Triggerfinger) (below) reveals that things are just about to start ramping up as we head towards the final episodes of the season.
It seems the two men Rick shot last night have a few pals who aren’t too happy about the situation and to add to Ricks woes there’s also problems developing closer to home in the form of hot head Shane. The next episode Triggerfinger Airs 9/8c on Sunday, February 19.
On a side note, I know a few of you were worried about the slow pace of this seasons episodes so far, so hopefully this quote from a recent interview with the original comics writer and the TV shows executive Robert Kirkman will reassure you. This is what he had to say about the slow pace of the season so far.
There is an unfortunate side to us breaking the season up the way we have. I think if the whole season had run concurrently week-after-week you would have been able to see that the slow episodes actually build up pay-off for the fast episodes. But, as it stands right now because of the break, it’s like, slow episodes in the fall and fast episodes in the spring.
Encouraging news for those of you hoping for a return to the faster pace seen in the first season, hopefully this will be evident in the forthcoming episodes.
