‘The Walking Dead’ Game Screenshots and Web Series Playing Dead: Episode 1
It’s been a while since we had any updates on The Walking Dead game so we completely overlooked this bit of exciting news this week.
With the first of the planned series of Walking Dead games soon to be released the games developer Telltale Games has released a new bunch of screenshots this week, along with details of a new online series to accompany the game called Playing Dead, which you can watch below.
For those of you that need one, here’s the official game summary,
Telling the story of a new group of survivors as they struggle to flee the horror of Atlanta and the surrounding communities consumed by the undead, The Walking Dead offers players the chance to experience the very first days of the apocalypse, meeting people and participating in events that intersect with the story seen in the comic books.
In total there are five episodes planned that will be available on all platforms. Telltale still haven’t given an official release date but have stated that it will be sometime in the spring.
Another interesting fact is that the writer of Book of Eli, Gary Whitta will be story consultant for the game.
