After much confusion about the release date of the upcoming post-apocalyptic movie The Road, we now have a firm release slot in mid October.
The Road is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by author Cormack McCarthy, whose previous book spawned the multi Oscar winning movie No Country for Old Men. It seems The Road is also set to become a huge success at the box office, which is almost assured judging by the growing anticipation of the books fans who are in their millions, as well as the curiosity of those unfamiliar with the story as the marketing campaign goes into overdrive in the run up to its release.]
