‘The Book of Eli’ Finally Arrives in Theaters

I woke up this morning to calendar reminders going off on all my techie devices, reminding me (not that I needed reminding) that today is indeed the official release date of The Book of Eli. And to mark this momentous occasion we’ve decided to have an entire day devoted to one of our most highly anticipated post-apocalyptic movies of 2010.

For those that don’t already know, here’s a few details about the movie.

Director: Allen Hughes, Albert Hughes
Cast: Denzel Washington, Mila Kunis, Gary Oldman, Jennifer Beals, Ray Stevenson, Frances de la Tour, Michael Gambon, Evan Jones, Tom Waits, Joe Pingue
Plot: Carrying a sacred book that contains information that could change the world’s future, Eli must fight his way across a post-apocalyptic America in order to protect it.

So to kick off the proceedings lets remind ourselves of just what it was that got us all fired up over this movie and take a look at the very first trailer and TV spots for the film.
