With only 7 days left till the return of the post-apocalyptic TV series Survivors, here’s a chance to remind ourselves of the explosive events of the first season and take a peek at what’s to come in season 2 with the BBC teaser trailer.

Survivors is a reboot of the 1970’s BBC classic in which a plague wipes out 99% of the population leaving the remaining few struggling to survive in a world that’s changed forever.

The first video is the season two trail, basically a catch-up of the events in season one and a reminder of just what it was that got us hooked in the first place. The second video is the teaser trailer for the upcoming new season which shows even more explosive action and story lines to come.

The show airs on BBC One in the UK on Tuesday, January 12.
