‘Revolution’ Gets its First Batch of Cast Members
J.J. Abrams has just signed up the first few cast members for his upcoming post-apocalyptic TV Show Revolution, here’s a reminder of the shows official summary,
“A high octane action drama from J. J. Abrams following a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist. In this epic adventure thriller, a family struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American landscape: a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology — computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights — has mysteriously blacked out … forever.”
Tracy Spiradakos, Graham Rogers and Anna Lise Phillips are the first to join the show, you can find out more about them and their roles below.
Tracy Spiradakos (Psyche, Being Human) is set to play Charlie, who at the moment is only being described as “a warrior”
Graham Rogers is a relative newcomer to TV with only a previous credit in the TV show Memphis Beat and a role in a low budget horror movie. He will play Danny Matheson who has been described as “a capable, cunning hunter with a good heart”
Anna Lise Phillips has previously had a role on the Australian TV Show Home and Away. Again not much detail has been given about her character, the press release only describes her as being “a doctor.”
Hopefully more details of the shows characters will be released over the coming weeks as more members join the cast.

This sounds an aweful lot like SM Stirlings Emberverse!
