PA Game Release: ‘I am Alive’ (Including Trailer, Latest Developer Diary and Free iTunes app)
Over four years in the making I am Alive which is set for release tomorrow (March 7) has not only captivated the post-apocalyptic games enthusiasts; it’s gotten the whole gaming community eagerly awaiting its release. And that’s mostly thanks to Ubisoft’s tireless efforts to keep the public’s interest in the game by ramping up the marketing campaign; releasing multiple Dev videos, trailers and timely released screenshots. But even with all this eye candy to keep them going, it’s been a long wait for fans who were first introduced to the game by Darkworks at the E3 way back in 2008.
Here’s the official summary for the game,
One year after a worldwide cataclysmic event that wiped out most of the human race, a man struggles for survival in a desolate city as he tries to reunite with his long lost wife and daughter. In this post-apocalyptical tale, there are no supernatural threats, just an everyman who faces a decaying and hazardous world and humanity’s darkest inclinations. Will you hang on to your humanity and help strangers or are you ready to sacrifice others in order to survive?
You can find the trailer for the game below along with a five minute Developer Diary which gives an even greater insight into the post-apocalyptic environment of the game.
Ubisoft have also released a free companion app which is available on iTunes for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. You can download the free app here
