MTV in Talks to make ‘Dawn of the Dead’ TV Series
According to Bloody Disgusting MTV are currently trying to acquire the rights to make a TV series based on George A. Romero’s zombie classic Dawn of the Dead.
They also state that it will be a spin-off from the movie rather than a totally original project. But that still leaves the possible storyline wide open, as the series could pick up from any point in the movie. Although I’m not sure they could fill an entire season with 7 people trapped in a shopping mall.
I kind of like the idea of a Dawn of the Dead TV series, I mean why not? I think given a good screenwriter this could turn out to be pretty good, right?
But either way it’s still early days and this project may end up just another rumour, but if it develops any further I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

to be honest MTV wouldn’t be the best for this …….and the TV show “The Walking Dead” will be hard to top…… dawn of the dead is one of my fav zombie movie and id hate to see the chance of a good tv show go out the window by some crappy producer…….
