Steven Spielberg’s big budget re-imagining of the 1950’s sci-fi classic based on the H.G wells novel. Tom Cruise stars as the father of two children; a rebellious teenage son and a young daughter, whose lives are turned into a chaotic nightmare after the arrival of alien invaders who begin to systematically eradicate the human race. The film follows the family as they journey across the country trying to keep one step ahead of the alien invaders that are reigning down terror, death and destruction on anything in their path.

 

This is a visually stunning and awe-inspiring remake of a classic movie that was also one of the most spectacular cinema experiences ever at the time of its release.
