Mel Gibson reprises his role as the dystopian avenger Mad Max in this the second instalment of the series.

 

Following the outbreak of world war 3 Max has now become a lone drifter. Wandering across the wastelands of Australia he searches for food and petrol which has become very rare after war. Looking out for number one he isn’t too happy when he comes across a small community of people who need his help to protect them from biker gangs that are after their oil refinery. After being persuaded to help Max assists them in launching an offensive against the gangs and getting their oil supply to safety.
