This is a truly extraordinary film only recently released on DVD. It tells the tale of a man called, Noah (Robert Strauss) who’s the world’s last remaining survivor of a nuclear holocaust. Unable to cope with his intense loneliness he begins to create his own fantasy world. But what begins with the creation of an imaginary companion quickly turns into something much more profound. As he creates a companion for his companion and so on, until he finally dreams up an entire civilisation. This fantasy built on his memories of a now extinct world slowly becomes his only universe.
