The only weird thing was, that the only one that was clean was the girl.

-3 #2 John Doe 2011-04-02 12:19 More American bubblegum. Very pretty movie but as an audience we all need car chases, explosions, gun battles and knife fights where at least half of everyone gets decapitated (don't we?). We don't. But it just wouldn't be Hollywood without it.

The twist at the end is kind of 'meh', and Mila Kunis … what an ordinary actor. I've yet to see her in Black Swan, but everything else I've seen her in she could be just as easily swapped out with some mallrat and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I always have the time of day for Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman and Tom Waits though - the movie is worth seeing because of this talent alone, just don't expect to get a cultural hardon.

+1 #5 smellanby 2011-08-13 14:48 True Belinda, I fell in love in Fallout 3 and New Vegas on the spot they became released and had been looking for a movie similar to the wastelands and the whole atmosphere in the game. I think that Denzel is one of the best actors of our time and have watched quite a few of his movies and one thing I have allways been admiring is that he does an amazing job just rehearsing his characters and steps fully into whoever he is playing, even his fellow co workers say that they aren't sure wether he's denzel or the character And he is truly amazing when acting injured, just after getting a critical hit or being shot etc. you really sense that he's hurt. And Mila Kunis surprized me, maybe I had put a stamp on her forehead that she could never do anything serious atleast after the 70's show, but proved me terribly wrong and was not just delight for the eyes but allso a big part why this movie had such an impact on me. One of the big reasons that I liked allso was that characters were well introduced, the main characters had enough time for the viewer to understand their actions and those who had more "sideroles", were less intresting mainly. And filming the scenes you could sense that there was no rush, places and actions didn't jump from one to another but kept going on calmly giving me the feeling that I hope this could go on forever, I mean by this that for example the movie Carriers was a good movie but left me with the feeling that I would have been intrested in knowing more of the characters and ended like it was just in the middle of it, like there was big hurry to just end the movie… I think you all know what I mean. Anyway, I've watched this for more than fifteen times and it never bores me, there's allways something new to be seen and just to sum my bad english and all around comments together; the best movie I've seen. 10 /10 Quote
