The year is 2033 and ever since a gigantic meteor hit the Earth, the world just hasn't been the same.  No Movies, No Cable TV and NO WATER! The world is held under the grip of super villain Kesslee (Malcom McDowell) who controls all the planets water right down to the last drop. But all this is about to change when his enemies which include The Rippers (an army of mutant half human half kangaroo soldiers) and our heroin Tank Girl (Lori Petty) begin to upset the balance power. On a mission to save the planet and provide free flowing water for all Tank Girl sets out to bring down Kesslee and she’s not bothered if she breaks a nail or two doing it!

This is a highly underrated movie that’s often overlooked but it’s a true post-apocalyptic comedy classic that’s outrageously funny and doesn’t take itself too seriously. A word of warning though if you’re looking for something with outstanding special effects or that’s intellectual and leaves you thinking this isn’t the movie for you. But if you're looking for a movie that’s different and will give some good laughs and leaves you thinking that was one silly movie then this is for you.
