Taking place in modern day England, a strange flu like virus begins to move through the UK and the world, killing at an alarming rate and killing everyone it affects. A small number of survivors begin to fight for their place in the new world which consists of about 1% of the former world. One women begins to search for her son and soon bumps into a group of several other survivors and they decide to remain together and fight for their survival.

Simply amazing! I had very low expectations of this show because I haven’t been very impressed with a lot of the new shows coming from ITV and the BBC. However, this show has changed my perspective. The actors are phenomenal, the action scenes are terrific and the plot and script are amazing. It is by far my favorite post-apocalyptic television series of all time. The one and half hour pilot is well worth a look to see if you will enjoy the series.
