A young boy is taken under the wing of an experienced vampire killer after his family has been wiped out. Together, they make their way across a now ravaged America, surviving not only the threat of vampires but insane humans too.

 

Review:
A post apocalyptic feast for the senses.
We're not on this website for vampires, we're on here for apocalpticism (of sorts) and this movie does just that. It is very atmospheric with thoughtful character development.
The underlying subtleties are what make this a gem and worth 1hr.36 mins of your time.
