80 Years in the future a bitter war between the Earth and alien invaders has brought mankind to the brink of extinction. Now the worlds only hope is in the hands of a young girl who has travelled into the past to change the events which caused the war.
In the year 2084 after 70 years of fighting the invading alien forces are close to destroying what remains of the world’s population. In a desperate attempt to protect the future a young rebel fighter called Milly (Anne Suzuki) jumps into a time machine just before the aliens destroy the Earths last stronghold.
Arriving in the year 2002 with only 72 hours remaining before the aliens forces arrive, Milly enlists the help of a local gunslinger and martial arts expert Miyamoto (Takeshi Kaneshiro) and together they set out on a quest to change history and prevent the war from occurring.
This is actually a pretty good movie; the special effects and martial arts sequences were awesome (Take a look at the Fan-made trailer below.) Visually it does borrow quite heavily from other films in the genre especially the Matrix and it also looks like the Hero Miyamoto had raided Neo’s wardrobe but that aside this movie was a pleasant surprise. The only downside is that the story itself could have done with as much attention as the special effects got, however saying that the film has believable and likable characters and also has a nice blend of action and humour.
