Nausicaa of the Valley of The Wind is the animated classic by the award winning pioneer and legendary filmmaker Miyazaki, It’s highly regarded by Anime and Manga fans as are his other works which include the Academy award winner Spirited Away.

 

After millennia of global wars have ravaged the planet only a few regions on Earth remain inhabited, one of them is the kingdom called the Valley of the Wind. The kingdom is isolated within a poisonous jungle that is spreading throughout planet threatening to engulf the entire globe. Insect like creatures inhabit the toxic jungle and are a constant threat to the valleys population. In desperation the kingdoms people led by their princess attempt to save humanity and restore the delicate balance between man and nature.
