This movie is definitely a classic apocalyptic film. The movie is centred on the fear caused by an impending nuclear attack. It really makes you think about how you would react in the same instance and what would be important to you. The picture is great and it is a perfect late 80s thriller.

0 #1 Mel 2010-12-23 20:38 It's a pretty obscure movie that probably can't be bought easily and doesn't get shown on TV too often. I stayed up til after 2am to see what was actually going to happen at the end.

The storyline was good and well acted. The budget might not have been huge but it doesn't really show.

Its worth watching just to see those 1980's LA fashions and hairstyles

0 #2 okie mae 2011-10-29 19:28 This was a good movie, well worth watching. The beginning is very exciting as Harry tries to convince the patrons of the all nite diner that the unthinkable has happened and nuclear war will break out in about an hour. The scenes with Harry and Julie are sweet and interesting to watch, esp when he refuses to leave the city without her. Good character development and lots of excitement. Quote
