A couple return from a week of camping to find there is no more gas in the United States. Using what gas they have to get home their journey is quickly detoured to the girl's family summer home.

Avoiding small thugs and scavengers they desperately try to decide their next move.

Review:

I wish I could write a good review of this movie, but I can't.  Giving this film a great deal of leaway as  a low budget, small cast venture does not allow you to forgive the rather poor character development and poor script.

There is not a lot to like about either of the characters.  The girl makes very obvious mistakes which puts them in constant danger.  The boy seldom stops cussing long enough to produce a coherent argument as to why he will not accept any help.

There is a bit of a shocker at the end.  But only a bit.

There are no real sets or special effects of any kind.  However, I doubt if they would have added or detracted from this film.

I rented this little film (thank goodness) and now I get to take it back.  I would reccommend that you pass on "EMPTY"
