An all action post-apocalyptic movie from the creator of The Descent and Dog Soldiers.

 

A deadly virus (the Reaper Virus) sweeps uncontrollably through the UK, in the ensuing chaos the British government takes extreme measures in ordered to protect the country and quarantines a huge section of the nation, leaving the affected areas to rot in isolation away from the rest of the world. The quarantine is successful however 30 years later the nightmare virus resurfaces causing chaos and panic. The government sends a military unit into the quarantined zone that’s been left to decay for 3 decades in the hope of finding a cure. However that task is made near impossible as the unit have to battle the horrors of what’s become of humanity inside the quarantine zone.

 

What this movie lacks in cohesive story and plot it more than makes up for with pure adrenaline packed action and plenty of eye candy, from start to finish you can’t take your eyes of the screen.

 

It's a visually stunning movie that’s let down by a weak story line and below par dialogue.
