Directed by the great George A. Romero, he continues his series of Zombie films with this his latest instalment, which follows a group of students as they fight through the growing horde of zombies, whilst not only trying to understand what’s happening but how they can protect themselves from becoming victims of the undead.

 

Filmed in the style of Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield, using a hand held camera for filming adds a very unique look and feel to this compared to the other movies in the series.

 

It's an excellent addition to the series, Romero has repackaged the Dead series of zombie movies for a modern audience whilst keeping the original concept and introducing new methods of filming and special effects that are both thrilling and exciting to watch.
