No children. No future. No hope.

 

The year is 2027, 18 years after the entire world’s population has become infertile, the youngest person on the planet has just had his eighteenth birthday and the human race draws closer to the end of their time on the planet. Chaos and fear reign as the worlds countries fight to keep their limited resources. Britain has turned into a fascist state locking up, deporting and even executing foreign nationals. Clive Owen plays the hero as he helps his ex lover and resistance fighter (Julianne Moore) escort a young women to safety who could hold the answer to the future of humanity.

 

An imaginative and disturbing vision of a future without hope that’s thought provoking and powerful yet ultimately rewarding and uplifting.
