This is the second movie in the series of Planet of the Apes films

 

After the disappearance of the crew of the first ship in the original movie a rescue team is sent out to find them, however they too end up crash landing on the planet of the apes. After surveying the planet astronaut Brent tracks down Taylor to an underground city in the forbidden zone. What he discovers is a sect of telepathic humans who are hidden deep under the surface of the planet. As the apes close in on their location all hell breaks loose and Brent is caught in the middle of a war between man and ape.
