This is a very bad adaptation of a good book. I know that everyone involved in the movie wanted this to work especially Travolta, after years of trying to get the project off the ground. But unfortunately the end product is let down by a poor script, lack of cohesive plot and so much more that it would take too much time to write. I wish I could say something positive about this movie; it’s watchable.

+2 #1 Mitur Binesderti 2010-01-22 04:54 This movie gets really low ratings everywhere but I really enjoyed it in spite of that. I even read the book after seeing this movie and the book is much, much better but I still liked this movie. Quote

+2 #2 Draxonfly 2010-08-11 14:37 I really like this movie, I own it on DVD and have watched it a number of times over.
I must say I have never read the book though so that may be why I enjoy this movie more than most, I am not comparing it to a book or any other movie for that matter, just watching it as a standalone story.

But yeah I really enjoy watching Battlefield Earth.
