This is the fifth and final film in the series.

 

Following on from the events of the last movie, the apes have now won their battle against the repressive humans and are now in control of the planet. Ceaser the son Cornelius and Zira tries to keep the peace between man and ape. However when one of his generals stages a coup a civil war rages which threatens to change the balance of power on the planet.
