Humanity+, new web series
There’s a new series coming soon from none other than Bryan Singer, the man behind the X-Men. I couldn’t be more excited to see him returning to some pure science fiction, this time with an end-of-the-world flavor. It’s called “H+” and it takes the technology-as-savior path to the apocalypse.
The series is adopting a YouTube only distribution model. Time will tell if this helps or hinders its viewership. Regardless, the show looks really strong. I like the plausible take on the technology angle. A mixture of bioengineering and the internet is probably where we are heading. Here’s the official synopsis:
A groundbreaking new series by acclaimed producer Bryan Singer, H+: The Digital Series takes viewers on a journey into an apocalyptic future where technology has begun to spiral out of control… a future where the world’s population has retired its cell phones and laptops in favor of stunning new device by Hplus Nano Teoranta, an innovative technology company that has found a way to connect the Internet to the human mind 24 hours a day.
Have a look at the trailer below. I love the soundtrack! Let us know what you think of it:
