District 9 Cryptic TV Trailers abound
With the imminent release of the upcoming Peter Jackson produced movie the marketing machine has gone into overdrive.
Unless you’re not a TV junky like me you couldn’t have failed to notice the rather cryptic District 9 trailers on the telly over the past few weeks (see below.) The meaningless snippets of “unauthorised alien activity” and confusing dialogue has set tongues wagging and done its job in garnering a huge amount of interest in the run up to the movies release. The D-9 TV spots, trailers and website are a prime example of why viral marketing is such a powerful advertising tool, as it gets people interested and leaves them wanting to find out more!
D-9 is set to hit the cinema on August 14, you’ll see me at the front of the queue!
