Amateur Novelist Scores Movie Deal with Zombie Novel ‘Warm Bodies’
Isaac Marion (pictured right) who was previously selling copies of his unpublished novel from his website has recently had a succession of good news. First the publishing rights were picked up by Atria Books, who will publish in the summer and now it’s just been announced that the movie rights have also been acquired by Summit Entertainment. Not only that, Summit has already snapped up a writer and director for the film, in the form of Jonathan Levin (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane.)
Marion who is obviously overwhelmed by the developments, which is evident upon reading his blog, has described Warm Bodies as an existential zombie love story at the end of the world. Marion has also created an ingenious amateur Trailer for the book which you can view below.
