2012 is set to be the big blockbuster of 2009 with it’s now firm release date of November 13th.
Summary:
The movie is based on the superstitions surrounding the Mayan calendar which predicts the worlds end in 2012. The movie follows Science Fiction writer and researcher Jackson Curtis as all hell breaks loose when the 2012 prophecies become an Earth shattering reality.
The films all star cast includes John Cusack, Thandie Newton, Woody Harrelson, Danny Glover and Chiwetel Ejiofor among others.
John Cusack plays Science fiction writer Jackson Curtis, The president is played by Danny Glover and his daughter Laura is played by Thandie Newton. Chiwetel Ejiofor has a supporting role as the presidents Science adviser.

I enjoy checking up on all the divergent types of Dec 21,2012 theory, I believe one satisfactory thing that has come of all of this, even if nothing materializes is that it has opened our minds to the possibility that we may not be here forever and that we need to hold dear the life we have.
