’2012′ DVD and Blu-ray Release Date is Announced

Good news for all you 2012 movie fans out there the DVD and Blu-ray release date has just been announced.

And when can you get your hands on this bad boy? Well you’ll still have to wait a little longer as it’s not released till March 29th but at least you now have a date to mark in your calendars. As usual we can expect to see some extra features in the DVD / Blu-ray release. I’m hoping that will include some behind the scenes footage as some of the effects in the movie were out of this world.

If you just can’t wait for the official release date pre-ordering will be available from March 2nd for the US and March 29th for the UK.

If you’re interested in the total sales for 2012 so far well it’s managed to pull in a not so paltry $736 million. I think a certain studios’ execs will be pulling out the Champaign with that news.

I’ll most likely have the Blu-ray on the day of its release so I’ll post a review for you guys then.
